Southern Women Empowerment Forum's President,Dr. Hellen Adebakin Mourns Olubadan's Death:


The leadership of the Southern Women Empowerment Forum(SWEF) has mourned the demise  of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland , Oba Dr Mohood Lekan Balogun who joined his ancestors Thursday evening .


A condolence message by it's National President, Dr Hellen Taiwo-Adebakin expressed condolences to the Olubadan-in-Council, the Oyo State Traditional Council and the people of Ibadanland as well as Oyo State.


The statement described the  late Balogun   as an epitome of royalty  whose short reign as Olubadan  engendered peace snd progress of Ibadanland.


" We received the sad news of the demise of one of the foremost monarchs in Yorubaland, the Olubadan, Oba (Dr) Mohood Lekan Balogun with rude shock .The late Balogun  was a great monarch whose reign enjoyed relative peace and progress " the statement reads in part. 


The forum therefore prayed  to God to grant repose to the soul of the deceased monarch.
