PDP Congratulates Elected Chairmanship Candidates, Charges Them to Emulate Quality Leadership:

The leadership of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has extended warm congratulations to all 33 elected local government chairmen and councilors who emerged victorious in the just concluded local government elections. The elections, which took place yesterday, saw the PDP emerge victorious in a testament to the party's growing popularity in the state.
The leadership of the PDP in Oyo State also expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde, the chief promoter of the PDP in the state, for his unwavering support and leadership. Governor Makinde has been instrumental in transforming Oyo State into a model of modern governance, and the party urged the newly elected chairmen and councilors to emulate his quality leadership.
The party also commended the Oyo State Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) for conducting credible and violence-free elections, which have set a good precedent for other states to follow. 

The PDP assured the people of Oyo State that they will continue to enjoy good leadership and that more dividends of democracy will be trickled down to the local government level.
