As Nigeria proudly marks its 64th Independence Day Anniversary, Hon. Kehinde Giwa, a stalwart of the Oyo State People's Democratic Party (PDP), extends heartfelt greetings to the wonderful people of Oyo State and the nation at large. He calls upon all residents to unite in hope and resilience, emphasizing the vital role of the PDP as the true champion of human-centered governance.  

In his moving remarks, Hon. Giwa stated, "On this significant day, let us reflect on our journey as a nation and remind ourselves of the values that bind us together. The PDP is the only party dedicated to governing with compassion, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to God.”  

He thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for embodying these values, highlighting his transformative leadership that brings real hope and a promise of good governance to the people of Oyo State. “Governor Makinde stands as an epitome of what it means to be a democratic leader—one who prioritizes the welfare of the citizens and works tirelessly for their comfort,” he praised.  

Hon. Giwa encourages all Nigerians to pray for divine intervention in restoring economic stability and comfort to the nation. “Though the current economic hardship may seem daunting, we must remember that no condition is permanent. Together, we can weather this storm and emerge stronger,” he assured.  

Concluding his message with a hopeful vision, Hon. Giwa expressed, “Let us continue to pray for more leaders like Governor Makinde to rise to prominence not just at the state level but onto the national stage. It is time for Nigeria to embrace governance that is rooted in care for the people—an end to the discomforts wrought by bad governance.”  

On this 64th Independence Day, Hon. Kehinde Giwa calls upon every citizen to unite and work collectively towards a future filled with promise, prosperity, and peace—reflecting the true spirit of Nigeria.
