Honourable Fowokanmi betterlife  š…elicitates muslim faithful On Eld-El-fitr, urges Peace And  šational unity

The lawmaker representing Ibadan Southwest Constituency 2 In Oyo state house of Assembly , has extended his warmest felicitations to Muslim faithful in Ibadan southwest  Constituency 2 and across Nigeria on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

In his goodwill message, Hon Betterlife described Eid-el-Fitr as a profoundly significant and spiritually elevating celebration, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, a sacred period devoted to fasting, fervent prayers, and self-abnegation. 

He noted that the festival, widely regarded as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” embodies gratitude to Almighty Allah for the fortitude to observe the fast, while also presenting an invaluable opportunity for spiritual rejuvenation and introspection.

The Hon Betterlife further notes that Ramadan, as one of the most hallowed periods in Islam, instills enduring virtues of sacrifice, compassion, discipline, and self-devotion. He added that Eid-el-Fitr epitomizes the divine reward for obedience, while fostering unity, generosity, and communal harmony among the faithful.

Hon Betterlife urged Muslim adherents to sustain and exemplify the noble values imbibed during Ramadan by promoting peace, love, tolerance, and national unity. He called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations, to leverage the festive period as a veritable platform to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, deepen mutual understanding, and collectively advance the progress, stability, and prosperity of the nation.

“Eid-el-Fitr is a time for profound national reflection, reinforced unity, and a renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians,” he stated.

He further encouraged the faithful to persevere in the spirit of generosity, noting that acts of charity central to the essence of Eid serve to uplift the less privileged and engender a more inclusive, compassionate society.

The “Mr Promised” Honourable also utilized the occasion to reaffirm his unwavering commitment to the promotion of policies and initiatives that enhance national unity, equity, and the judicious distribution of resources, in consonance with his mandate as Chairman of the oyha  Committee on Education . He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a peaceful, joyous, and profoundly fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
