2027: Adeshina Selimat Hails Hon. Waheed Akintayo’s Re-Emergence as PDP Consensus Candidate, Commends Gov  Makinde, Oluyole Stakeholders

 The Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs, Oluyole Local Government, Adeshina Selimat Oludayo, has extended warm felicitations to her Principal, Hon. Waheed Akintayo following his ratification as the consensus candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Oluyole State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Adeshina described the development as a testament to Hon. Akintayo’s outstanding record of service, accessibility, and people-driven representation. She noted that his return ticket reflects the confidence reposed in him by constituents to deepen quality legislation and grassroots impact.

The Supervisory Councillor expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his consistent guidance and fatherly support for equity, inclusion, and democratic consolidation across Oyo State. “The Governor’s fatherly role continues to strengthen our party and inspire emerging leaders,” she stated.

Hon. Adeshina also paid tribute to PDP leaders, elders, stakeholders, and faithful party members in Oluyole for their unity and foresight in entrusting _Ilumoka Presenter_ with the mandate to continue his stewardship. She assured the people of Oluyole that Hon. Akintayo’s commitment to humanity, women empowerment, and community development will remain unmatched.
“I am confident that his next term will deliver even greater dividends of democracy to every ward, household, and interest group in Oluyole,” she affirmed.

Hon. Adeshina urged all constituents to sustain their support for the PDP and rally behind Hon. Akintayo’s re-election bid in 2027 for continued progress.
