EASTER: HON. FEMI FOWOKANMI BETTER LIFE JOINS CHRISTIANS IN IBADAN SOUTH WEST AND OYO STATE TO CELEBRATE THE RISEN CHRIST

Honourable Femi Fowokanmi Better Life has joined fellow Christians across Ibadan South West Constituency and Oyo State in the joyous celebration of the Easter season, describing today as a day of hope, renewal and divine victory.

In his Easter message, Hon. Fowokanmi noted that the resurrection of Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith and a reminder that light will always triumph over darkness.

“Today, we celebrate the risen Christ. Easter teaches us that no situation is final, that after the cross comes the crown, and after the grave comes glory. This is the hope we must hold on to as individuals and as a people,” he said.

He extended warm felicitations to Christians in Ibadan South West Constituency and across Oyo State, praying that the blessings of the season bring peace to homes, healing to the land and renewed strength to families.

Hon. Fowokanmi also urged residents to reflect on the lessons of Easter — sacrificial love, forgiveness and unity — and to extend kindness to neighbours, especially the vulnerable, as an act of love in the spirit of the season.

“As we rejoice, let us also remember to be our brother’s keeper. That is the true essence of Easter,” he added.

He wished all Christians a peaceful and fulfilling Easter celebration.
