The Forum of Local Government Assistants Secretaries (FOLGAS) has thrown its weight behind Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi following his selection as the preferred successor to Governor Seyi Makinde. This endorsement has been hailed as a pivotal move to ensure the ongoing success of the current administration's initiatives in Oyo State.

In a statement released after a leadership meeting convened by Alhaja Bolanle Oladeji, the Coordinator, the Forum expressed confidence in Hon. Adekanmbi, citing his substantial leadership skills, political acumen, and unwavering dedication to public service as key attributes that position him as an ideal candidate to carry forward the transformational agenda initiated by Governor Makinde.

FOLGAS highlighted Hon. Adekanmbi’s impressive track record marked by loyalty, competence, and a strong commitment to grassroots development. His selection has rekindled optimism among party loyalists and stakeholders within the government, the group affirmed.

The statement emphasized that backing Adekanmbi transcends mere political alignment—it represents a commitment to ensuring continuity, stability, and ongoing development within Oyo State.
